About
We draw on both Lebanese and Danish cultural roots, and this dual perspective is a key part of our approach. In our work, we support people in finding balance and wellbeing – especially when navigating life between different cultures.
Background & approach
I am a woman born in Lebanon in 1975, and I came to Denmark as a teenager. My background includes both my Arab and Islamic culture, which I carry with me, while many years in Denmark have also given me Danish culture and lived experience. This dual cultural understanding is an important part of how I work as a therapist.
In my day-to-day work, I support families and take on assignments in collaboration with local authorities, helping people from minority backgrounds navigate between different cultures, reduce worries and find balance in everyday life. My aim is to help people understand themselves better and create wellbeing in a life where two cultures meet.
In my private life, I spend time with my children, who were born and raised in Denmark, and through my family I also have personal experience of balancing culture, identity and everyday life.
