PRIVATE THERAPY
When life feels too hard to handle on your own, therapy can bring calm, clarity and new perspectives. We offer a safe space for conversation at our office in Greater Copenhagen or by phone.
THERAPY WITH CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING
We offer therapy for anyone who needs support to find calm, clarity and greater self-understanding. Sessions take place in a quiet, confidential and welcoming setting, where there is room for vulnerability — and where we explore thoughts, feelings and patterns in everyday life together.
Our therapy is especially for people with a minority background and/or a strong religious identity who want support from a practitioner who understands the values, norms and language you bring with you. We work to open up new perspectives and more sustainable ways of coping — at a pace that feels right for you.

METHODS
Narrative and constructive therapy is based on the idea that we understand ourselves and our lives through the stories we carry with us. In therapy, we explore and broaden these stories—especially those shaped by difficulties, feeling stuck, or emotional pain. Together, we look at how experiences, relationships and life circumstances have influenced your story, and we create space for new perspectives and ways forward. The aim is to strengthen a sense of meaning, identity and hope by highlighting your resources, values and alternative stories about yourself and your life.
Mentalisation-based therapy focuses on the ability to understand your own and other people’s thoughts, feelings and intentions—especially in emotionally challenging situations. When we become overwhelmed, stressed or affected by trauma, our ability to mentalise can weaken, which can lead to misunderstandings, conflict or emotional distance. In therapy, we work to rebuild and strengthen this capacity through curiosity, reflection and a safe therapeutic relationship. The aim is to support emotional regulation, improve relationships and create greater self-understanding and inner stability.

MY SERVICES
I offer therapeutic sessions for anyone seeking greater insight into their inner life and a better understanding of the patterns and reactions that shape everyday life. The sessions focus on building awareness, strengthening self-understanding and developing more sustainable ways to manage challenges and pressures. I also work with young people and teenagers who are experiencing low mood, stress or emotional difficulties at school or in day-to-day life, and who need a safe space to put words to what feels hard.
In addition, I offer sessions for couples and families where relationships are affected by conflict, strain or past experiences that create distance, misunderstanding or emotional imbalance. Therapy can also take place with a close relation – for example parent and child, siblings or others – when the relationship needs support, clarity or strengthening.
